Thank you for visiting Jumpin Joe’s! Here you'll find answers to common questions and important things to know when you're renting our bounce houses and inflatables. Q) Do I need an attendant or employee to supervise?
A) There should ALWAYS be someone supervising any inflatable. The most important duties of an attendant are limiting the number of children in or on the inflatable at on time, making sure that the children are all of similar size and controlling the behavior of all participants. Jumpin Joe's can provide an attendant for a minimal cost.
Q) What if my yard has hills or stairs?
A) The delivery team can not go up and down stairs. Slight inclines are ok, but anything in excess will be charged accordingly. Our dollies aren't built for stairs or large hills.
Q) Can we rent at night?
A) Our standard rentals are 6 hours rentals but for an additional fee you can keep the unit overnight. The fee must be paid in advance and arrangements must be acknowledged by management on the (invoice). All overnights will be picked up before 9 am the following day.
Q) Will you charge to clean the inflatable? "See Rental Policies and Procedures on website and see Fees"
A) We expect to receive our inflatables back in clean condition. We understand that children can track grass into by means of traffic. We will not charge for cleaning this. However since you will receive a list of Rental Policies and Procedures by email at the time of booking any food, drink stains, or not following any other listed rule of this nature will result in a minimum $150 clean up fee at time of pickup. The inflatable will be inspected before it is picked up at your location.
Q) What if it starts to rain? "See Rental Policies and Procedures on website and see Weather Policy"
A) n the event of rain, unplug blower, remove or cover blower (with a table) from rain and let the inflatable deflate. Jumpin Joe’s knows mother nature is unpredictable, we will make exceptions based on a case by case situation.
Q) Does the price include set up and delivery?
A) We offer free delivery in selected areas, pickup, and set up of all our equipment is included in the price.
Q) Does the 5 hour window include set up time?
A) No, we arrive early to set up. This way, you can enjoy the full 8 hours to play.
Q) What should I expect on the of the rental?
A) That depends on how many rentals we have that day. Generally we arrive 1-3 hours before the rental time begins. If we have a lot of rentals that day, we may need to setup as early as 4 hours in advance. If this is the case, we will call before to confirm that someone will be at the party location. At the time of setup we will review the rental agreement, and go over any questions regarding safety, proper use, and any other topic you wish to discuss. If payment has not already been made, it will be due upon setup of the unit.
Q) Will your equipment be dirty like some others we rented in the past from others companies?
A) No, Jumpin Joe's cleans, disinfects, and inspects before & after every rental.
Q) Do we keep it powered on and plugged in the whole time?
A)Yes. A blower keeps air In the Inflatable Unit the entire time. Once unplugged they deflate. That's why we require an outlet within 50 feet of the unit, or a generator. Longer cords can flip your circuit breaker so we bring our own heavy duty cords. Of course if it rains we need you to unplug and deflate the unit as well as cover the blower.
Q) Do you set up at parks?
A) Yes, We set up at parks but most parks do NOT have electricity. If you want to set up at a park you must rent a generator. Jumpin Joe's also rents generators. Also, unless you have a reserved space, parks are first come, first serve so get your sport early in the day.
Q) What methods of payment do you accept?
A) Cash, Company Checks or Credit Cards. If paying by cash, please have exact change as Jumpin Joe's drivers do not carry change.
Q) What if i have to cancel?

Q) Do you require a Deposit?

Q) Are we responsible if the inflatable gets a tear or damage?
A) Please alert us at once so we can send an employee out from Jumpin Joe's to inspect and take care of the situation. However, if damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all the damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc. which can cost thousands of dollars. We don't want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator.
Jumpin Joe's does offer an Accidental Protection Plan.
Q) Does Jumpin Joe's have insurance?
A) Yes, we are fully insured.
Q) Can you set up on any surface?
A) We usually set up on grass and concrete. Sorry we can't set up on any type of rocks as the constant rubbing will wear through the vinyl.
